House Band

House Band is your personal band: pick a vibe and it generates relaxing or focused music on demand, on your device, offline. A few things that come up often:

I’ve saved songs I love to my library — what can I do with them?

They’re yours. Every track is original music generated on your device, and it’s royalty-free: keep it, play it later, put it on in your café or shop, use it behind a stream or a video. There’s no separate licence to buy and nothing to clear.

One thing worth knowing: a set is a recipe, not a recording. Someone else listening to the same set will hear music in the same spirit — a similar mood, instrumentation, and tempo — so treat a track as your own original piece rather than an exclusive one.

Which devices are supported?

House Band runs on-device and needs a recent device with enough memory to generate audio comfortably. If your device isn’t supported, the app will tell you rather than run poorly.

Does it use my data or the network?

Audio is generated and stays on your device. The only optional network feature is improving a new custom set configuration online, which you can turn off in Settings. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Managing your subscription

Subscriptions are billed by Apple. You can view, change, or cancel a subscription any time in the App Store: open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device.

Report a problem

If something isn’t working, email [email protected] with:

• The app name and, if you know it, the version.
• Your device model and OS version.
• What you expected to happen and what happened instead.
